Friends of Karusa Wine Club
The Friends of Karusa Wine Club is our way of saying thank you for supporting a small, family-owned cellar in the Klein Karoo. There’s no annual fee, no must order 5 cases per year or case per quater – if you shop on our website, you’re already a member!
What you get as a wine club member
As a member, your wine experience is automatically upgraded with:
- 10% off your first order
- Karusa Rewards that will give you 5, 7, 10 or 15% off a future online order
- Free shipping on orders over R1 500
- First access to new vintage releases and limited-edition wines
- Priority on limited end-of-vintage stock (when it’s gone, it’s gone)
- First option on wine pairings and Karusa events – book before the general public
- +5% Karusa Rewards on your restaurant bill when you submit a quick feedback form, and upload a clear photo of your receipt.
Karusa Rewards: 12-Month Spend Tiers
- Your online wine, beer and gin purchases for the last 12 months determine your reward level.
- You always earn something – the more you support us, the more you get back:
- Friend of Karusa – Spent up to R1 499 over the last 12 months.
→ Earn 5% in Karusa Rewards - Karusa Cellar Member – Spent between R1 500 – R2 999 over the last 12 months.
→ Earn 7% in Karusa Rewards - Karusa Reserve Member – Spent between R3 000 – R4 999 over the last 12 months.
→ Earn 10% in Karusa Rewards - Karusa Estate Member – Spent more than R5 000 over the last 12 months.
→ Earn 15% in Karusa Rewards
- Friend of Karusa – Spent up to R1 499 over the last 12 months.
How it works in practice:
- Place an order online as usual.
- On completion of the order, we calculate your current tier from your last 12 months’ online spend.
- You earn Karusa Rewards (a credit) based on that tier.
- After each order is approved, we will send you a confirmation email of Karusa Rewards allocated to your profile.
- Next time you shop, you can use your Rewards as a discount at checkout.
Restaurant Rewards (On the Farm)
When you visit the Karusa restaurant:
- Enjoy your meal and keep your receipt.
- Complete the online feedback form and upload a photo of your receipt.
- We verify it and load 5% of your restaurant bill as Karusa Rewards on your online profile.
- Use those rewards as a discount on your next online purchase.
It keeps the circle small and local: visit the farm, support the restaurant, get rewarded online.
Quick Notes & Fair Use
- Karusa Rewards are only redeemable as discounts on future online purchases.
- Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash.
- When submitting a restaurant receipt, as part of your “Rate your Visit” the invoice number & invoice total need to be clearly visible.
- Invoice number can only be linked to 1 user.
- Rewards on a meal receipt does not contribute to 12 month online spending tiers.
- Free shipping thresholds and reward percentages may change in future as we grow.
- End-of-vintage and limited releases are strictly while stocks last.
