2017 Vintage
Moerdor- refering to the extreme drought of the Klein Karoo region during the past few years. This Cabernet Sauvignon was uprooted just after the picking of the 2016 vintage- only 750 bottles made-sold exclusively from the winery. This is a super ripe red/black coloured Cabernet Sauvignon- aged in old french oak 500 liter barrels for 18 months. Cassis, blackberries, prune and dense black cherry backed by bold tannin structure and a fat mid pallate. Will age for 8-12 years.
